Beautiful very textured, heavy stone antique mortars. Hand carved from solid stone and sourced from rural Asia, these antique mortars were originally used for grinding grains and spices 70–100 years ago. Each has been shaped through years of daily use, leaving a beautifully organic surface with subtle ridges, tool marks and natural stone variations.

The tones range from soft greys to muted earthy neutrals, with a textured patina. Perfect styled as a sculptural object, a candle base or on your kitchen countertop.

We offer a hassle free 30 day returns policy. If you need to do a return, simply email us at hello@salthome.co.uk with your order number and we will advise on next steps.  

Postage for returns is at the customer's own cost. Please note, large antique pots should be returned back to us using a hand delivery courier service who specialise in fragile goods.
